Outreach - Liberating Word's Ministries

LWM assists with the community’s assessed needs in our feeding, back-pack to school, reentry, informational sessions, men, women, and youth outreach are programming opportunities serving both inside & outside of the church’s walls. LWM has a huge parking lot used for the community outreach and neighborhood walks used to share the good news!

Other internal ministries include our Pastoral, Deacons and Trustee ministries, and annual meetings held in January to report all church operations of the preceding year formally.  Plans are discussed and voted upon to move the ministry forward using various assessment tools for progress measurements.

Discipleship

Christian discipleship extends beyond a program’s series of steps. Instead, it is a repeated process of development. A person commits his or her entire life to Jesus and becomes dedicated to learning His ways while also going, sharing, and teaching this way of life to others.

We learn to:

Put off self-centeredness and put on Christ-centeredness. (Mark 8:34-38)

Abide in Christ for the Holy Spirit to produce the fruit – a result of our obedience. (John 15:5-8)

Love for other disciples as a member of God’s Family. (John 13:34-35)

Generate the discipleship of others by sharing the wonders Jesus has fashioned in us.  (Matthew 28:18-20)
